Stinson Family Reunion

Dear Stinson Family Member:

Greetings, I am pleased that the 2010 Stinson Family Reunion will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina. We are busy planning and preparing for your visit on July 2nd through 4th. We encourage our family, especially those who will travel from across the country and abroad, to come early and enjoy the entire reunion weekend. The official opening begins on Friday, July 2nd at 6 pm.

We have booked the beautiful Courtyard Marriott Hotel located in Southeast Charlotte at the rate of $59.99 per night. We have currently blocked 20 rooms under the Stinson Family Reunion. They will release the block after June 11, 2010. However, if rooms are available they will honor the Stinson Family rate. The number to call to reserve a room is 704-527-5055. Fourth of July weekend is one of the busiest times of the year and hotels may book quicker than normal. We recommend that you make your reservations early.

We have reserved Paramounts Carowinds on Saturday, July 3rd, 2010 for Saturday's event. The park offers more than 50 rides, shows and attractions including 13 pulse-pounding coasters, a 12-acre children’s area and a splash-tacular 20-acre water park.

Our hopes are that this will be a fun filled weekend for you and your family. We are looking for total participation from all of our family members. Enclosed is an itinerary of each day and driving directions to the hotel. You will also find the registration forms for the family reunion enrollment and fees. Please make every attempt to send registration dues by the postmarked date of June 4th, 2010.

The theme for the 2010 reunion is "Celebrating Our Heritage, Building Our Future”, which coincides with and continues with last year’s theme of “Bridging the Gap”.
